My Garden at 8am

This Hebe is at the side of my front path and it was bent over so much that nonoe could walk up the path, Postie and Milkman had to come across the lawn from next door!
They say this is the first time we have had this weather at this time of year since 1934! We were also without power for 15 hours today!

Especially as we had no power for 15 hours Sue!
Snow is still lying but will go today I think.

looks like you had the snow and we have had the wind, the ferry was cancelled so much this last week shops kept running out of fresh food and the backlog of cars and lorries was so bad they actually did a no no and run the ferry on Sunday to help clear it a bit, the first thing you learn about a winter on the islands is to cope without electric, I have calor gas fire and stove and oil lamps and battries for the radio plus a store cupboard of packet and tinned food, all needed in winter,
Dorothy I was pleased to read about the care you were shown, take care Frances,
