Colours and Cultures of Mexico

I went to a fascinating talk by Alicia Merrett at the EG about Design and inspiration for the colours and cultures of Mexico a couple of weeks ago. I loved her colours and enjoyed the talk a lot. Here, with her permission is part of one of the quilts she showed us. It shows the main recurring elements she used, a J shape, a square within a square and a cross.

Beautiful. Brought back memories of my trip to San Felipe, Baja last year.
The colors are wonderful- everything is so vibrant.
